Choosing within ceiling and flush mount

Flush and low-profile fittings exist for rooms without the ceiling depth for recessed cans. Canless retrofit lights install into an existing hole without a housing, which is usually the practical option in a finished ceiling. Check the shower or damp rating before putting anything above a bath.
