The four numbers that decide the room

Kelvin sets the mood, not the brightness
2700K is the colour of an old filament lamp. 5000K is closer to noon daylight. Mixing the two in one room is the most common mistake we see.
Lumens are the brightness
Watts tell you what a bulb costs to run; lumens tell you how much light you get. A 6W LED putting out 650 lumens replaces a 50W halogen.
The base has to match
E26 is the standard American screw base. GU10 and G9 are pin fittings from downlights and wall lights. The base is in every specification here.
