Choosing within under-cabinet lighting

Under-cabinet lighting removes the shadow your own body casts on a worktop, which is the main reason kitchens feel dim even with a bright ceiling light. Rechargeable magnetic strips need no wiring and suit rented kitchens; plug-in and linkable strips give steadier light where a socket is available.
